CD Player reads "Error" when I load a CD in, any way to fix this?

I'm trying to avoid going to the Dealership for this, but doubt that possibility unfortunately.

When I Load a CD in, it sits there for a second, makes the "loading" noise, then reads "Error" on the screen.

Anyone else experienced this?

Have you tried other purchased CD's? Just asking as sometimes what works "at home" may not work in the car and vice versa.

If it happens with other CD's definately recommend a dealer visit.
