My check engine light came on after I installed a CAI. The code is for the air temp. sensor. I replaced the sensor, and the pig tail clip for it. The light stayed on. I put the stock air box back on to get the light off for state inspection, but light came on shortly after. I now have the CAI back on and what do you know the light is back on. The only thing I can think of is the CAI comes off the MAF. I wanted to save money and did not buy the whole kit with the piece from the throttle body to the MAF. Did not think it would make a difference. Any suggestions on how to get the light off?

Nope it goes off and comes back... as of yesterday it was on so I do not know what I'll see today.

So what part didn't you buy? The elbow that goes from the tb to the maf? How you have the intake mounted to everything? A picture would be really helpful.

Yeah, the only piece I did not buy was the elbow from the tb to the maf... I will post a pic later I do not have one right now sorry
