if you have an 08/09 bu, then you can pop that gold plastic piece off and then you have a nice chrome piece under it once you clean off the tape they use.

Does anyone have a picture what the front and rear bowties look like after the gold is popped off. I have a silverstone malibu and I think those would look great in only crome, but worried about taking them off and seeing a sunken in mess that I would have to reattach the gold.

It looks broken with the gold removed - and it is virtually impossible to remove the gold portion without breaking it (it is held in place with double-sided tape.

If they're like the ones on the trucks (which I assume they are) the chrome is not a nice smooth shiny surface. Not sure how they compare in size, but I know there are chrome and billet pieces available for the trucks...

Thanks I only saw ones for the Camaro and it is tough to gadge the curve of the bowtie on the front & if there will be a space. So I ordered the silver vinal from grafxwerks.com.
