I heard it this morning, Matt.

It's based on 12000 miles per year, for three years, divided by the EPA combined gas mileage rating of the purchased vehicle. It also applies to certain vehicles, IIRC. If the purchased vehicle has a combined rating of 20 MPG you'll get 600 gallons at the reduced rate per year for three years.

Not a bad savings, but not enough for me to buy a Chrysler product.

Sounds interesting but I would never buy a chrysler product. I use to be a dodge fan but after seeing the quality decrease so much over the past 6 years It turned me right off. Now I'm a full blown GM/Chevrolet fan.

Nice to see you come to the right side, the dark side can be blinding sometimes!

Chyco cars can be a decent value.

Earlier this month I bought the following:

2007 Dodge Grand Caravan SE - MSRP $25,500
11 months old - 10,749 miles

39 month/39,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty
8 yr./80,000 miles powertrain w/ roadside assistance
No Charge loaner for service work
No Charge - lifetime oil changes

for $13,038 OTD.

I bet the people that fell into this trap feel like fools now that gas is $1.50 a gallon...
