So, I have the 2017 1.5 LT, I can’t wait for my tune to be set up. But I was thinking about getting a AEM cold air intake. In your guy’s opinion, would installing the tune, then installing the cold air intake and having TRIFECTA tune it again be too much power for my engine or trans?

Honestly, I would want it first for the sounds it would make, the performance gain if any would be a bonus. But if it would make my engine run into a bunch of problems down the road id rather stop after the first tune.

Save your money on the CAI. Your car already has one, and you could actually harm your engine if you lower the effectiveness of the filter. Check this out:

To get the noise you'd like to hear, consider doing what Ford did on their Mustang. They took a small hose from the intake and ran it to the firewall, just so the driver could hear the intake sounds. I'm not sure if they passed it through or just stopped right there.
