I got that survey back in September. I thought it was from a marketing/survey company contracted by GM. I filled it out, mailed it, bought a Timmy's with the $2, and I haven't heard anything since. If it was a scam to get my banking information then they quickly realized that an overdrawn chequing account doesn't yield much profit.
Customer Satisfaction Study Bribe ?
So I get this thick envelope in the mail today. It's a 2010 Customer Satisfaction Study in regards to my Malibu purchase.
It's not from GM or the dealership and it's pretty long, about 7.5 pages. At the end of the survey, there is a $2.00 cheque made out to me.
Initially, I thought it was to pay for the postage to mail the survey back but I got a pre-paid envelope and I also have the choice to fill out the survey online.
Has anyone else received a similar survey with a cheque attached to it? It seems kind of odd.
