I will be adding a Parrot Bluetooth system to my 2009 LT1. Will I run into any trouble disconnecting the wiring plugs from the back of the sound system to use my special harness? If the sound system is powered down does it lose a code that has to be put back in for the sound system to work? Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Please, does anyone know if the stock radio power is disconnected for a short time will it come right back up when repowered??? 2009LT1

If you mean functionality of the radio I would think you would be fine. The only time the radio should need reprogramming is when you switch units. If you're talking about all your saved settings, then you will most likely lose those.

saved setting generally save. you shouldn't have an issue with the theft lock though because it is the same car (i think it reads off the pcm or something i really can't remember)

Thank you for the replies. I was worried about the security feature. Giving the Parrot bluetooth system to my wife for Mother's Day. Will find out over the weekend how easy it is to install and if it works well. Once again Thanks.
