This is perfect timing as I just stated in a post a few days ago that my Malibu needed a better set of pads. My car currently has a slight shimmy under harder then normal braking and I am certain its the pads that GM puts on from the factory. I would be a perfect test case to validate EBC braking performance over stock GM pads.

I want my brakes to work well when they have been warmed up some on the hills around here. You never know when an animal is going to run out in front of you. I like being able to stop before that point of no return where you just let off the brakes and let it happen. I had some EBC Green Stuff brakes on my last car and noticed way less fade once things had warmed up with them when compared to the stock pads. I would love to try some of these on the Malibu and see the difference when compared to the stock pads.

I drive my car hard and with the performance upgrades that I have I need a pad that is of a higher quality than the stock pads. Need something with a bit more bite.

These might be just the ticket!

i need a car that stops on a dime. i drive my car like it is a race car so i need to stop quick alot. i like the stock brakes but i need new pads( and hopefully be able to turn the rotors) already ( i told you i use them hard) after 23000 miles. right now my brakes pedal is pulsing and i know its from my 100+mph runs back down to zero asap.
plus i drive in morning/4oclock rush hour on I275 and here in Michigan you use your brakes alot there. during rush hour you can go from cruising at 90 to a 5 mph crawl before you know it, so i need to be able to stop very quickly.

Well...I'm all about trying new things. The pads currently on the Bu are OK for when the wife drives the car, but when I get behind the wheel I need pads that will stop the car in a moment notice

Very cool... I have to get in on this, though I NEVER win anything. I'll be happy to do a full review if I do, with a quick install. I've been looking for some better brakes for this car, so hopefully the winners put up some detailed reviews so I know if it's an option if I don't, cough, when I don't win.
