I thought the 2.0T called for 5W30?

Anyway, I always buy Wix or Mobil 1 brand filters. I avoid the factory replacement ACDelco filters because they are low quality e-core manufactured with lower tier FRAM products. I was really disappointed by that change because ACDelco filters used to be fantastic quality and bang for the buck.

double check as I believe the 2.0T recommended weight is 5W-30 (it is in 2013, 2014, 2015)...Mobil 1 5W-30 and usually the UPF64R...I've not read of any issues using the latest PF64 AC Delco filters and have used them from time to time without any known issues...I generally follow the Oil Life Monitor and have never gone past 5K miles using it...

FWIW 2015 2.0 is dexos1 5W30 and ACDelco PF64 filter. Like cp said above, ACDelco/GM made changes to the PF64 and I'd seek a better replacement. If sticking with ACDelco the UPF64R referenced above is still great quality and an good alternative so is the Mobil1 M1-113A.

UPF-__R filters are manufactured by Mobil1 last I checked bobistheoilguy. I use UPF-48R when the price is lower than the Mobil1 branded filter.

The PF-64 is hit or miss. Some of them are old stock of good filters, some of them are plastic e-core. Most ACDelco e-cores say "e" like PF-48e, but they chose to do the PF-64 differently.

I used to use Wix, not any more since Mann owns them. Quality has gone down.
Last winter the filters developed leaks from the gaskets on 3 of my vehicles. 2 3.6 V6's and the 5.3 in my Tahoe. They were seeping oil and I had to super crank them down to stop the leak in-between oil changes. I now use UPF AC filters with no issues.
