Hey All,

I have read on several threads about "blue lights" on the inside door handles. I am very confused as my door handles are not blue at all but more of a GREEN color. What gives?? Have I misread some comments or are my doors handle lights a different color???

Thanks!

one guy on here modified his lights to go blue because i think he didnt like the aqua color. he still has not given a detail version of exactly what he did, but if you are an engineer and have tapped into the car battery then it should be a cinch. i would do all that, but 1. i do not have the time, and 2. looks like a lot of work :)

Lol... A thread comparing Green to Blue...

I personally think its more of an Teal color. Haha

About the blue thing though, I remember seeing a thread about that... it was definitely pretty cool looking actually.

Have them correct it themselves. Don't accept an inferior repair, especially from a dealer claiming to have GM Certified Technicians. They make a bad name for the rest of the guys who actually do the work right! We have several members here who represent GM service departments, and glad we do!

Mine have a turquoise/aqua color and honestly I really really like it. I had bright blue LEDs running in my G6, which I liked, but honestly the turquoise/aqua in the 'Bu holds a bit more... luxury feel to me. I like that blue led conversion though.

The first time I saw the turquoise was actually by mistake. I was driving and saw the light on my hand (I usually have my hand on the shifter in case I need to drop into M for a pass or something) and was like "What the...?!" and looked up and saw them. Then, I looked around and saw the ones in the door handles and was like "Awesome!!" :)

Every time it's dark outside I still do a double take at the lights.

Mine is also Turquoise/Aqua in mine but I think the one on driver side is burned out, anybody know what the part number for it is or how much it cost and where I can get it...
I made a search and the part number is 25937457. The part name is lamp front door trim.

It's between $30.00 and $40.00 dollars.

You can find at www.gmpartsdirect.com and place like that.

I ordered some led and resistor on ebay to repare the door lamp of my car my self. Stock is not delivered yet.

The repair will be much cheaper.

They removed ambient lighting from LS models. You could probably add it easily if you wanted.

You've gotta open the door trim to find that out for sure, I don't know how the system is wired up.
