I'll start off by saying.... I am NOT a mechanic or electrician so please be patient with me lol. DRL lights on my 2016 Malibu LT have never turned on since I bought it from the dealership. I checked fuses, then today I went under the car and tested the wire harnesses and neither plug is showing any power when I hooked up a tester but I tried chasing the wire up without taking off too much bumper to get my hands up there. While doing this I found a harness not plugged into anything and when I hooked up the harness it was showing no power either ?‍♂ I attatched a picture. Could this be related to my problem. I am thinking maybe previous owner had a light go out and just unplugged something instead of replacing. If so where is the other connection located?

that's the female connector of the FRONT FASCIA HARNESS TO BODY HARNESS. Can you take a pic of the back of the connector where the wires enter the connector?

Are you DRLs on the front bumper or in the headlamp?
