Cool! Be sure to post pictures. We all love pictures here. I originally wanted 20% all around, but decided this time she's gonna obey the law so did 35% all around.

Well she is done! Doing this makes her even sexier. Seems like a small change but gives such a large return on looks.

lgndryhr, I would like to be legal, but it just doesn't provide the protection and look I want and need. In my '04 Bonnie, I had 15% as well and in the 6 years driving that car I never got pulled over for tint issues nor the few times I did get pulled over for traffic infractions did a officer meter the windows. I am either blessed, lucky or the officers just don't care around here.

I will post pictures this weekend, for sure!

This weekend I am going to fosgate guy that built and installed my audio gear in the bonnie and see what he can do with installing the bonnie box and amps (rack) in the bu. The box fits, but the amp rack doesn't (as is), so he'll have to shave the rack some to get it in. When that is done in a few weeks or so, I will post pics of that as well.

[Update] Just FYI, this is what's going in the Bu

Later!

Lucky. I've been pulled over previously for traffic violations and they would say something about my tint or I would be pulled over for my tint. So I decide legal limit and be done with it. Don't have to worry about it. Now, once I graduate and can afford a 2nd car (like a weekend/toy car) I will tint her darker, probably 20%.

It's because he lives in Florida and almost everyone has tint!

You know what, you are probably correct on that point!!

Well, went to audio installer yesterday and got the quote for what it will cost to put my audio gear from Bonnie into the Bu. $400.. OUCH!

He won't be able to use the nice rack, but he said he would put an amp on each side of the box attached to the car, not the box. I guess I am ok with that, I just love that rack! He said I do not need the JL Cleansweep, since all I am doing is porting back and converting the sub frequency. He said when it comes time to update interior speakers and 4 chan amp he said THEN you might want to think about the JL cleansweep or the Fosgate 3Sixty processing modules.

So he quoted;

2 amp wiring kits (since I have 2x301M's) [email protected]
1 PAC S-OEMT $30
2 amp mounts (carpeted boards to mount amps to) - $40
Sub-control (gain) knob - $50 or less (didn't have source to get quote atm)
Labor - $180

Total: $380

All of this to install 2 amps and speaker box (pictured in previous post). For those familiar with pricing is this fairly decent pricing? I cannot do this myself as I am not a car person. Give me a PC, and I can do wanders!! But cars..nope, other than enjoying them, not my world to fix/repair and mod. leave that to the professionals!

Later, Thanks!

She got tinted last week and this weekend I washed and waxed and polished her chrome bits and took her around town for a photo shoot.

Attached are a few of the photos.

Have a great day!

Nice pictures and car. Did you edit those or do you just have a nice camera? That first photo shows off the car nicely.

Great job on the pictures! I like the first one, but gotta ask. Did you do any editing before posting them? That sky looks real angry or was it just a graduated filter?

Thanks for the compliments on the photos. I am a budding photog. I have a Canon dSLR and I used Adobe Lightroom (for editing RAW photo formats). So, they are 'shopped if you want to look at it that way to get that look and bring out detail in the car.

As far as next mod, right now, it will be lowest fruit (cheapest). Audio system, for now is last on the list. So, its a chroming we go. Not sure, what exactly is next, maybe door handles and pillar posts chromed, then chrome wheel hubcaps and then HID's.

Thanks again!!
