I installed the Fog lamp grilles, and the assemblies. Could not locate the plugs for the lamps, will check with dealer again, as I was assured they were in there, but if not I will purchase an after market kit to get them running. I like the way they look.
I also added the mud guards, for function not aesthetics.
After i finished I washed it and used a clay bar for the first time, wow is that amazing. Last few pictures are at dusk so it wasn't shining as much as it would have during the day after the wash, clay and wax.

I take it the install of the fogs/grills and wash was just about an all day thing ha? Car looks great! Another satisfied customer, those clay bars work wonders.
All together, about 4 hours to do the fog lamps, I did NOT need to remove the front bumper, I worked from underneath, which led me to discover that the front end is too low for my ramps so I had to jack it up and use jack stands. The first side took much longer than the second side, since I already knew exactly what to do.

The washing took almost 2 hours altogether, with the wash, clay and wax, plus the quick interior cleaning I gave it.

All well worth it though.

the lower outer grilles (which in some models house the fog lamps) snap out, must be done from the inside, and can be replaced with the outer grilles with fog lamps. Then the lamp assemblies click into the grill from underneath as well. Removing the entire front bumper, would make it more accessible but i was able to do it from under neath. You can purchase the grilles from gmpartsdirect.com or better yet ask your local dealer to price match the grilles (50ish a piece I think) and order the wiring and assemblies on ebay for about 90 dollars. Then put it all on.
I was hoping the wiring was there, so my wiring is en route and I'll get to do the process again when its here, oh well.
Feel free to ask any more questions.

i purchased them on ebay. it was a guy selling one set. But you can now buy kits that have everything you need for about 90 bucks on ebay except for the grilles, which can be purchased on gmpartsdirect.com the fog assemblies go for like 150 a piece through gm normally so the ebay kit is the way to go

The lamp assemblies just click into the grill from underneath? Which grill or it's the bumper itself? No screw or bolt to retain it ? I see some places to put a bolt around the fog assembly. May be it's for another GM model using the same fog assembly.

Thanks in advance !

the holes that extend out from the assemblies are not for bolts or screws, i thought the same thing but when i got underneath and put them in, there is a spot in the back of the bumper where the assemblies click on in order to secure them, even though my malibu didnt come with the stock fog lamps, the bumper still had the spot where the assemblies snap in

Thanks for the info. That's good news ! I just received my outer grills and fog assembies (w/o bulb) bought also on eBay but there were no bolts or screws so the holes are probably for another GM model using these fogs(Equinox, CTS, ...).

Do you have any suggestion for the bulbs ? I know it's H11 model.

Really, thats new to me (H11 bulbs for the fogs). If it were me I would do an HID upgrade on those bad boys! Unless someone can chime in with some more info, like "Will HID bulbs have sufficient clearance?"
