I am want to install fog lights on my 2016 Malibu ECO LT, and i wanted to know whats the bang for buck!
I was looking for factory look but aftermarket fuction Not oem cause i understand that would be way too much money for my pockets. Thank you for giving me a reply and ill keep your advice in mind when i go to install the lights and any run ins.I'm not sure what bang you want to get for the bucks you'd spend.
Do you want to have stock fog lights? If so, you may find that you'll not only have to buy and install the lights, but come up with some wiring on your own to replicate what is not present, and then you may have to take it to a dealer to have the BCM flashed to recognize that the vehicle now has fog lights.
But that's to have factory-style operation.
To add common, ordinary fog lights can be a challenge on modern cars, since the aerodynamic designs lend themselves poorly to adding things like that. But you can get some factory fog lights and wire them to your own switch, relay, and fuses and save a bunch of money doing so. You'll have the factory look and function (mostly) and it'll be a lot less headache and money.
Ive looked but curtian ones i just dont trust you know especially at an affordable price especially around the holiday'sI was able to find a complete OEM fog light kit for my wife's Cruze online. Have you looked on amazon or ebay?
I put the OEM fog lights into my '15 1LT . Rock auto had the lights and the bezels. They went right in. You have to do your own wiring to them as there is no harness or dash control
Did rock auto have a reasonable price?I put the OEM fog lights into my '15 1LT . Rock auto had the lights and the bezels. They went right in. You have to do your own wiring to them as there is no harness or dash control if not factory installed.
Okay thanks bro, ill be sure to consider rock auto any part warranty? Was $180 for lights and bumper bezels. Lights came with stock bulbs. Looks totally factory.
