Fuel gauge doesn’t move after installing subs

Hey everyone! So I have a 2013 Malibu ls(2.5lt engine) and recently installed a sub box. After the install I noticed the service airbag lights comes on and the fuel gauge doesn’t move. The fuses seem ok though I only noticed 1 for the fuel gauge. When I move the key to “ON”, it will move the needle up and down smoothly, just not when the engine is started. The lcd screen also just constantly says low fuel. I know the fuel pump module needs to be replaced but it only started happening after the install. Any advice?

Engine-codes.com is a good resource.
You need the U codes to be read also, those are communication failure codes that indicate issues in the onboard data stream and help with diagnosis.
A 4 code families need to be read not just the P codes.
Cleaning the module connectors would be my first action with a electrical contact cleaner.
