Hi and thanks for your help.
My Malibu while turned off is draining my battery in a few hours. I just discovered the fuel pump is turning itself on.
Any suggestions?

I'm interested in a code scan. Some 2018 and 2019 owners have had problems with the Fuel Pump Power Control Module shorting causing the low pressure (tank) fuel pump to run continually.

Pretty good bet it's a faulty Fuel Pump Power Control Module. Can't be 100% certain remotely but with that behavior and that code it follows a pattern.

By my count, this is second posted instance within as many weeks of batteries dying as a result of non-stop operation of the fuel pump power control module. Maybe just a coincidence or bad luck but this may be something to keep a watch on like the vacuum brake booster pump.

Pump relay sticking can be a factor also. I don't have a diagram, but I suspect the module controls the relay. Relays can stick closed erratically.
I would swap relays with another identical one on another circuit first.
