Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of replacing the rusting heatshield on my 2009 3.6L Malibu LTZ that covers the fuel tank. Unfortunately this part is no longer available from GM and I cannot find stock of one anywhere - from any GM dealership or other parts vendors.
There does not appear to be any aftermarket versions available. I checked for a used one from a wreckers but they were all rusted away.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Could a newer generation Malibu heat shield fit?
