So I decided to replace my cabin filter today. After dumping the glove box all over the floor, I finally saw IT. That filter container latch that was so simple to pry up….and what do I see inside??? NOTHING!
I’m sure a previous oil change or repair facility thought I was gonna say yes, replace it but they don’t know me & left it empty…
Thanks a lot jack…

GM didn't put standard cabin filters in a lot of their models until some time after the bankruptcy. My 7th gen had instructions to install your own by cutting into the ventilation yourself.
