For those who have the GM card... can you use the earnings for accessories, or can it only be used on a new vehicle. My mother has earnings that are expriing, and if she/we can use them, might as well...

Might be wrong, but believe they can only be used for new vehicle purchase.

They don't transfer, but I think there was a recent (?) change that allows people to "combine" their points but I'm not sure how that works with ownership papers, family members, couples etc. You'd have to call in and ask. Also I might be completely wrong and crazy too Haven't thoroughly looked into this in quite a while as I burned my points almost a year ago on my 'bu.
