Hey all!

I'm Tim from Chicagoland.
Pretty much my whole driving life I've owned Camaros, including the newest, a 2010 SS/RS.
Been a fan of them my whole life and I even run a website about the new Camaros!

I just picked up a new 2010 Malibu LS a couple weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it - it's a base model, but I'm really really impressed with the car!
I've always liked the styling of the Malibu since the 2008 redesign, and now I am happy to own one. :)

I come from a Ford family, but I've always been a GM guy!

In the few minutes I've spent browsing around here, I've already seen a familiar Malibu from a friend on Facebook :)

Being a car enthusiast, I can't leave anything alone, so that's why I'm here!
Looking forward to learning about these cars, and what kinds of things are out there to do to them!

I promise not to ask too many noob questions LOL :D

Welcome! Read some of the posts. Different mods all over the place plus bits and pieces of knowledge scattered about.

Hey, I heard that the mirror control is now near the window switches instead of up on the sail panel WAY UP at the front of the door. Is that true?

Yep, the power mirror control on the 2010 Malibu is by the window switches, that is true!
I can take a picture of that if requested.

A couple things I noticed right away about this car:
It's SMOOTH and QUIET! And it gets awesome gas mileage! (I'm not used to that lol)

Definitely want to get remote start and all-weather floormats for it first.
Then I'll look around at some appearance tweaks. :)

Welcome my friend, it's nice to see someone with a Camaro on this website. Are you a member of LS1tech.com, someone has Octane as their name I believe.

I just got a 2010 LS for a rental and its pretty interesting going from our 09 LTZ. I LOVE the window switch change and the door locks being by, GASP, the door handle! Also, really like how they redid the door panel to allow for more access to the side of the seat and makes it easier getting in and out of the car.

Its funny how many people are on here AND ls1tech. :D

Yeah, I'm on LS1tech too (as OctaneZ28), but I don't go there anymore.
I used to be the moderator in the 2010 Camaro section there, but I stepped down.

I noticed the door panel change from the '09 Malibu. It's very subtle, but it makes a difference.
I'll take pics and post them when I get a chance. :)
