Ok this is a really new one on me. I was driving my 2009 LT1 home the other day I hit a bump and my drivers side mirror fell off. Not the mirror housing just the mirror glass. All that was left was the housing and the black disk that the mirror looks like it was glued to. Very wierd.
Whats worse is I drove it straight to the dealer and they acted as though they seen this before and in a half hour it was fixed and I was on my way.
Basically they glued on a new mirror, tested the electronic mirror, checked out the rest of the car and sent me on my way with no charge.
Very strange !!!
