I put a set of 6000K HID's in my girlfriends 08 Malibu around January of this year and they have worked fine. After a month or so one of them started to flicker some so I ordered a HID relay wiring harness from the place where I got her HID's from and hooked that up and everything went back to work right then.

Now the low beams will not come on when you crank the car and they also will not come on when you manually turn them on either. The high beam lights still work normally. I checked all the fuses on the car and even checked the relay and fuse on the HID relay and all is good. What is going on with these lights?

Is it possible that a factory part has went out? Any suggestions?

Well, either you fried your wiring harness or your ballasts went bad. Go to hidplanet.com and search their forums. They have tons of people with a wealth of knowledge. Those are my two guesses though.

I got the HIDs working again today, the relay was bad in the HID harness!
