Hello All:

I finally did it! I bought a 2008 Malibu LTZ yesterday. I've been lurking around the forum, but now that I have one, I wanted to say hi.

I flew from Las Cruces, NM (southern NM; actually out of El Paso, TX) to Ft. Worth to pick it up and drove it back. I'm very impressed with it. It's my first car, and it's my college graduation present to myself.

Onto the specs
*Black Granite Metallic
*3.5L V6
*6-speed shiftable transmission
*Ebony and Brick leather interior
*Free XM (it was never turned off... so I'm gonna ride that horse 'till it dies)

It's awesome -- the more I drive it, the more I love it. The remote start is brilliant for a black car in the NM desert heat.

I'll post some pictures tonight of it. I'm looking forward to becoming part of the Chevy Malibu Forum community.

Both the car and the pickup are mine. It's a 92 Chevy Z71. I upgraded to the Malibu

When I bought it, it had 19130, now (almost a week later) it has 19900!
