i have noticed that sound in my malibu lately im up to 3300 miles. And its the type of ring where it sounds like its way up in the front of the car.. I can hear it when i accelerate and while im braking to a stop..

Just curious if you guys have experienced this also. When i brake and come to a stop i get a tiny boost at 1000 rpms right before i come to the complete stop.. is this normal? is it something i should worry about??

Not sure about the noise. Can you describe it more?

The boost when you near a complete stop is likely from the transmission shifting into 1st gear, which raises the RPM, which increases the vacuum, which makes the brake booster slightly more powerful. You may feel the brake pedal sink a little. This is normal on many cars.

I have similar ringing noise in my 09 Malibu V6. Sounds like its coming from the left front of the car and happens on rough road at around 40 to 50 mph. I first noticed it when the I drove the car home the day I bought it. I have taken it back to the dealer twice and they couldn't be bothered to fix it (or had no clue what the problem was).
