My wife was the one that had issues with the HHR- I like the car. But, like you Jerkyking, she felt cramped. Of course, she says the Malibu's side / rear visibility is only slightly better, so she only drives it if she has to (bonus to me!! ).

I'm 6' and I don't feel too cramped. It's not as wide as the Grand Prix, but still wide enough for two reasonably sized adults. But it is totally different going to a wagon from a sedan.

I have a co-worker who weighs around 300 pounds, and it was like trying to shoe horn him into the HHR.

The HHR is so far off the ground compared to the Malibu or GP. When I get back into the GP, I feel like I'm slinking down into a Solstice or Vette.

The HHR SS and the Cobalt SS both are really impressive vehicles, so if my wife hadn't complained we'd be driving the HHR here too (dealer had a black one when I bought the 'bu). I especially liked the performance vs. fuel economy factors- those cars get outstanding fuel economy while still being extremely quick and fun to drive! Congratulations on your beautiful car.
