LTZ has standard features you won't likely find on other trim levels, such as heated outside mirrors, 8-way power driver's seat (mine is 6-way), power passenger's seat (mine is manual), fog lights, LED taillights, upgraded radio/CD player, automatic AC, prettier wheels, and an extra letter on the trunk lid.Howdy,
Thank you for having me and thanks for your opinion!
LTZ would be better than 2LT?
later!
Nope, my LT has adjustable pedals as well.....and leather. Plus I think the gauges are a little different. Mine also has adjustable pedals, was that '08 LTZ only?
Hum, I guess they stopped it for '09? My buddies '09 doesn't have them.Nope, my LT has adjustable pedals as well.![]()
Deleted option for '09. I have a filler next to the dimmer. I used it to mount my lighted rocker for my fog lights. Dang, woulda been a nice thing to have available, too!Hum, I guess they stopped it for '09? My buddies '09 doesn't have them.
Your not missing anything, mine are all the way back at the floorboards (I'm 6-1) and I never use them. I also noticed that when I moved them towards me more to try it, they seemed to pick up some slight vibrations from the road anyway....Deleted option for '09. I have a filler next to the dimmer. Depends on your situation, my wife and I constantly drive the Bu and for us they come in pretty handy.Your not missing anything, mine are all the way back at the floorboards (I'm 6-1) and I never use them. True, my wife never drives mine. And now shes really afraid of curbing a wheel haha, she has a new car anyway.Depends on your situation, my wife and I constantly drive the Bu and for us they come in pretty handy.
1. My wife is shorter so she puts them up and sits farther away from the wheel, much safer if you ask me (in case of airbag deployment, you never know when).
2. When I drive all I do is move the seat back a tad and the pedals all the way down and I'm good to go!
That there is why I am hesitant on puttin some 20s on the Bu. I won't be comfortable unless I am the only one driving it...LOL!True, my wife never drives mine. And now shes really afraid of curbing a wheel haha, she has a new car anyway.
Basically yes. The DSG is a totally different thing. The paddles on the Malibu are like the Auto Stick on a Chrysler. IMO a waste....So The paddle shifter is kinda like an ornament on the Christmas tree? It looks good but slower than the automatic transmission shift speed? So it is not like VW/Audi paddle shifter with special double clutch?
Haha.....sorry for taking your intro off the original subject. When one post leads to another its hard not to reply. (i.e this post...LOL!)HI,
Well I am glad that I triggered out a big response wave just with my introduction (and my basic question: Sonata vs Malibu vs Sebring)

Can't help you with the paddle shifter here, I'm sure more people will chime in.
As I have said before, my car has them....they suck. IMO all paddle shifters suck unless they are a F1 type or DSG.I'm glad I cracked you upI'm getting some fame here! LOL!
Anyone has had experience with paddle shifters on Malibu?
