I recently bought a 8000k HID kit but can't make it to work on my 2000 malibu. Can anyone here who can help me to figure out what the problems are?
When I test the kit with a stand alone 12v car battery, it works. But when I replace the original low beam halogen bulb with the HID kit using the stock wire, the kit does not light up. Since the DRL is using my low beam, I wonder if this causes the problem.
