Hello malibu lovers :)

Just wanted some opinions on some future plans of mine! I plan on getting a new fresh paint job within 2 years and i was wondering every ones opinion on House of Kolor products.

I want to paint it a Kameleon Black/Dark blueish purple and add marblizer in it as well. I will link to the paint examples

PS. How much do you think a paint job like this would cost?

and then give it this marblizer/flake look as well

So the overall look will be a color changing darker blue/purple with marblizer

what do you guys think? My car is already completely blacked out from lights to emblems and rims. My headlights are also a nice blue 10,000k Xenon as well!

I love that color, not sure on the marbleized part though. I have not seen anything like that in person though. I think it would look sick in that color, but I don't think it will be cheap. I know house of kolor is an expensive paint (worth it), the labor on a paint job like that may be higher, and complete paint color changes come with a high price. I went to school with people who had house of kolor paint jobs and their mini trucks looked amazing. I think it was just the depth of the color itself, or maybe something else. One truck owner said it ran them around $8K for a candy red, but I am not 100% sure.

I say go for it when you can.

Yeah, repainting a car is some serious business if you care about your car like all of us (including yourself) do. I hate to say it but your best bet is probably not painting it if your budget is ~2k. You might be able to DIY, also, but that would take about ~3k, a full week of man hours learning and doing it, and alot of equipment knowledge.

Think about the amount of work that goes into properly painting a car (watch a discovery show or something) and then imagine what might happen at a place charging 1500 for that amount of care and labor. The answer is likely no care, half-a**ed labor, and cheaper paint to save on costs.

Just my 2 cents though.
