I bought the car used. I bought a inexpensive OBD programmer but, now it seems that the fobs were twice programmed by my son.

Do I have to go to a locksmith to have the "tokens" (or previous programming attempts) wiped from the car's memory. Is there a way to wipe the programming from each fob?

I feel like I am better off just starting from scratch.

I still have the two OEM originals but, I think they are on their last legs, I've tried cleaning the board contacts gently and trying a new case for each. Just sporadic operation.

Are there any locksmiths who've dealt with this before on here.

Thank you for your time!
