All, thanks for reading and helping. I was wondering how I can best access my Daylight Running Light (driver side) to see if it’s plugged in or not. I’ve checked the fuse and the fuse is working. Only one light (driver side) is not turning on. I can only imagine it became unplugged or it needs to be replaced. I just don’t know how to best access this.

I think you can remove just the front air deflector or splash guard and reach up in to check the connector. LED DRL replacement requires bumper removal. Under hood upper molding comes off, then front air deflector under the car, then the bolts that hold on the bumper. A few years ago my passenger side DRL went out and was covered by a service contract. Driver side is still going at 130k. I have started seeing quite a few Malibus with a single DRL out (and a bunch of other models with LED DRL) so I wouldn't be surprised if it failed, unfortunately. I always see the passenger side out so perhaps there is hope its just your connector!

Campb292, Are you positive you have to remove the bumper cover to change the LED DRL? I have seen videos for similar Malibu light assemblies that describe prying the assembly out using a flat tool inserted under the edge. It appears to be held in with clips. My passenger side LED DRL is out on my 2018 LT, and I was thinking about buying a pair of DRL strips from eBay for about $50 and replacing myself. The seller has sold 186 of them and had good feedback for that item.

Being 5 months ago I don't remember. You can always try. Guessing based on how I typically post, I checked the service manual for the official process and referenced that. I'm sure there's a guy with a crowbar, duct tape, a hammer and some gorilla glue getting it done somewhere on YouTube.
