08 2lt v6 3.5L 25 000 KM

I started noticing a slight humming noise coming from what sounds like the right front end. This started a few days ago and it happens at speeds between 60 and 80 km/h. It's more obvious just below and above 80 km/h.

I've just started school and drive about 150 kilometers combined so I'n not sure if that distance raised some underlying issue.

Also I read in another post about the harsh 1-2-1 and I'll be sure to bring it up with my dealer.


ps. On a side note a service advisor told me that at 22000 km they have to do a brake service (I took my malibu in because of loud squeaks from the brakes). Just wanted to know if any of you had this service done.

My wife had a humming noise in her 05 Equinox. She changed the tires, brakes and all. We just found out it was a bad Bearing. Look into that and that may be the issue.

With the ABS Sensors embedded right into the wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly, next occurence shall be ABS system failure (ABS Light). That's if front wheel bearings are suspected to go.

finally got around to taking the car in...turned out to be the left front wheel bearing. Just glad it is still under warranty because my previous car (01 alero) cost a pretty penny to replace both front.
