Makes sense. High quality low cost car with great gas mileage. Just right for a severe useage environment. In our somewhat rural area they just finally got rid of the mid 90s Impalas they were using for taxi's and went to the Ford rear drive platform. Some of those Impalas had so many miles on them they wore out the door hinges several times. A couple of years ago when I was in one going to the airport the driver told me the car we were in had over a million and a half miles on it. You want a tough reliable car for that kind of service.
