hey everyone,

been trying to get my malibu (2016 limited lt with 2.5l) running right again,

been seeing a lot of the same issues im having with the fix being tightening the bolts on the intake manifold.. but ive taken it to two shops who have told me they wont do the work untill the car throws a code, even tho I ask for the specific job to be done..

does anyone know of a good tutorial on how i could do this at home? as im a little done fighting with shops who keep taking my 90$ for a diagnosis and telling me the car is fine when the engine shakes at idle and rpm is jumping up and down...

Those shops are lame! They rely solely on the codes and won't do anything without them. They need to take trip at 88 MPH back to 1985 and see if their lame attitude helps them make a living.

Online shop manual from alldatadiy.com is a must for those who want to work on their own car.
Even we experienced wrenches have it for every vehicle in our personal fleet.
The manual and a good scan tool will have you 2 steps ahead of a shop.
