Intake ??

Hey,
So I have an 04 malibu LS (3.5L) My first car awsome, anyway I have done some minor and major work to it ( window tints , sub, cat back straight pipe , 12000K HID's) just stuff like that. Now I have a as my friends and I call it a poor mans intake ( filter stuck on the end of the intake pipe ) I took out the intake resinator and the stock filter box but im needing to get somthing better ive been told about a intake called a CRAB for pontiacs G6 and ive looked at it the same if not simular thing to the malibu and ive also been told to just go and buy some pvc pipe and DIY. I love DIY but i just dont know about this pvc pipe if anyone has any ideas, advise , links , pictures anything let me know, Thanks
