How do they do with the initial gradual start up of the lights? Are yours able to dim or do they start flickering at any point?

I know how you feel I'm afraid to pull hard on any plastic in this car 1. because its new 2.because its kinda flimsy and I'm afraid of breaking something.

What size bulbs did you use for these? Im having a hard time locating the correct size bulb for nearly any of the interior lights.

We will be introducing a full interior LED conversion kit for the Malibu once we have one in for comparison testing.

In the meantime, feel free to email us if you have any questions about lighting: contact@diodedynamics.com

The failure rate for eBay LEDs is over 50% FWIW. They will be considerably less bright than a quality LED replacement, and typically have cheap, hand soldered joints.

Looked at your site. I like the easy search feature that points customers to lights that fit there specific year vehicle instead of seeing multiple years and wading through the info. Wish you had more to offer for the interior but for the lights you do offer the prices seemed competitive. I might order the back up lights from you to test out your company. I'm also interested in the 2013-2014 Chevrolet Malibu Multicolor Fog Light LEDs with remote control but the site says they are back ordered. Must be popular...

I'm going to try the T10 LED bulbs as suggested by 2013_Mali. These are the same bulbs that I used in my 2011 SS Camaro for the interior lights. I checked the original bulbs from the Camaro and they are the same as what is in the Gen 8 Malibu (I have no idea why I keep OEM parts like this). I am ordering my T10 Aqua LED lights and a footwell LED kit from Advanced Automotive Concepts (http://www.automotivelightstore.com/ORACLELEDFootwellKit.aspx). They are a direct dealer for Oracle Lighting. I have had great service from this company and they honor warranty replacements with out a fuss.

Regarding the footwell kit, I added this same kit to my Camaro and the lights activated with the interior light switch as well as the door switch. They faded on and faded off just like the interior map lights do on the Mali. Connection was made near the fuse box and not up at the overhead switch (light grey wire with a white stripe). Anyways, I'm hoping to investigate or read about someone else finding this similar wire on the Gen 8 Malibu. If I find it I will definitely post the finding and give how to info.
