I have a 2016 Malibu LT and like many others have the P1101 pop up every other month. I read the forums and did the usual change the MAF and cleaned throttle body several times. The code would clear but come back in a few weeks. Car runs fine with check engine on so i just ignore until I get to it.
What I did notice lately if I just pop off the air tube going to the throttle body it would clear. So question would it be related to the air tube not sealing on the throttle body correctly, I did notice some up and down movement when I grab the tube but doesn't come off unless I release the clip, could it possibly be the clip needs to be replaced cause it's not tight enough?. It's driving me nuts!!. Thx
