I have a 2018 Malibu, with an iPhone 13 ProMax. I can’t get the wireless charger to work. Has anyone had this issue, if so what how did you get it to work?

Got a case on the phone? My wife's i phone will not wireless charge in my '20 Traverse with the case on it but it's an older i phone.

I also have a 2018 and I had to have the wireless charger upgraded as some of the 2018s have older wireless chargers that are incompatible with newer iPhones. Here is a link to the compatibility chart with the GM Service Bulletin #18-NA-153. See Note # 8 on the chart

I have an 18 Malibu too as well as iPhone 13 Pro Max and had 11 Pro Max before that. I have the older wireless charger that you can have retrograded for about $200 I believe but none of my phones have fit in it, including my old iPhone 8 Plus so I think the slot ends at iPhone 8 (non plus) or the 7 before retrograde. it would've been more convenient to have the charger pad.
