[LT1Malibu]

I have about 3900 miles on my 2010 LT1 Malibu and I have the 6-speed automatic transmission. I love the transmission and how it shifts better than I can with the paddle shifters (must need more practice), but it seems like it takes a pretty firm hand to move the shift lever into and out of gear. Anyone else notice the same thing?

How firm? Mines not bad at all. You might need yours adjusted.

Shouldnt be that hard to do, maybe you should get it checked out.

Mine shifts with minimal effort, but then again, the dealership paid for classes and a personal fitness trainer who targeted my upper body with major attention on the right arm.

Didn't that come standard with yours?

I think it may be out of adjustment. I assume its a cable setup. I have the dealer check it out. Thanks

I took my Malibu to the dealer and as it turns out it was my imagination. They walked me through all the shifting detents on the unit. I guess I am not normally accustomed to the precise detents on the unit. Gosh, I love this car!
