is it possibel to take a 1998 lumina engine and put it into a 1998 chevy malibu???

anything is possible, LOL

The Malibu is similar to the Grand Am and I've seen a couple Grand Ams with the GM 3.8 Supercharged (Grand Prix GTP motor) engine swapped in

well what i was really asking was would it be plausable to do without much modification
(I mean I have the ability to modifiy but I dont want to overly modify the car and mess something up)
