You are seriously gonna put that on your car?
I might just use it for the tip. But I don't think it will sound that bad. If it does like I said I will just do str8 pipes with the black tip

If I had to guess I think it will likely sound ricey and be of poor quality/rust pretty quick.

If it's on ebay for $25 its probably not too high quality, esp since they are "new" and being sold in bulk.

That's going to rust, and sound like bees in a tin can. You just bought a straight through muffler if you could even call it that, it's more like a resonator. If I was you I would try to return it while I can, and if you straight pipe your car it will sound even worse.

Just use some high temp flat black paint on the stock pipe. Why exhaust anyways man? I'd just leave it stock especially being an I4 it will likely sound ricey as said before. Also when are you going to hear it with 150+db at your fingertips? Anyhow I did find this vid, idk if it's a member or not but hes got the I4 with what looks like a "straight pipe" setup just split to look like the 6cyl. Sounds like a Honda to me.

It may be the quality of the video, but that sounds like it is close to stock for sound. Not a bad looking car though.

What sound? :D

I hope he didn't pay much for that, I try to not be very negative. But I have to say I'm not really a fan 4cyl exhausts. The s2000, and Subaru's wrx versions are better. But a car needs some HP to sound good.

yeah bro you should just bought some magna flow mufflers and ran straight pipes the rest of the way with black tips if anything. Has the stock sound basically but just a little bit deeper. That cheap one rust like everyone has said and sound ricey unless u want it to sound ricey but your malibu u kinda turned it into a "slap" type so ricey is not going to work with that look at all :(

Horsepower really has nothing to do with sound. All about engine configuation.
Agreed. What I think he was getting at was that if your car is going to be making exhaust noise it better have a motor and horses to back it. Like the guys that throws the whistler off of ebay on his civic pushing 100hp to sound like he's got turbo with a bov.
