I have a 2009 malibu with aftermarket remote start. I want to buy a keyfob that will let me program the tpms. If a buy an oem keyfob and program it will it Interfere with the aftermarket remote start.? The aftermarket keyfob arm the alarm and pops the trunk, and unlocks the doors. Which keyfob do I buy??

Try using the aftermarket one to start with. Close the door, turn the key on but don't start the engine, then press and hold both the lock and unlock on the fob for 5-10 seconds. When you hear the horn honk, it's in TPMS learn mode.

If the aftermarket fob doesn't do it, you will need to determine if your Malibu is capable of using a factory remote. Find the list of RPO codes (glove box or spare tire cover). I don't know which one you need, but you can search CMF, call a dealer, or wait for a member who knows to come along and share that.
