ive lost both my keyless entry remotes.
but the line of work that i kinda have an unlimited supply of keyless entry remotes, for any vehicle at that. but anyways ive picked up a few extra remotes and tried to program to my Malibu, unsuccessfully. ive google'd ways to reprogram remotes to a new vehicle but have failed at all, sadly... anyone one on here know how to reprogram these remotes and can kinda give a small, sweet & short tutorial or guide to doing so?! id greatly appreciate it !!

Sure, take the vehicle and key fob to a dealership or automotive locksmith. If you have multiple key fobs, bring them all.

The reason being, you can usually do the key or key fob yourself but not both. On your Malibu, key fobs need a scan tool that has the Program Key Fobs function.

i just got off the phone with a local Chevrolet dealership, basicly he said they have to hook it up to a computer and program them that way... he also said it would cost $45.

Sounds right. If you ever change the radio to another Factory head unit, you'll need the dealer to reprogram that for you as well. (Note: I said another FACTORY head unit, not aftermarket).
