I currently have an 08 HHR LS with the 2.2 that we're looking at trading for an 08-09 Malibu. Any suggestions for features or what to look for?

It depends on what all you want. If you go to the dealer and pick up a brochure on the Malibu, it will show you what each model comes with. It might give you a start. I just bought a 2LT and got the 3.6 option,18" wheels option, sun roof option etc: If there are accessorys on your HHR that you like try and get them on the Malibu. They are really a great car. Good luck and let us know what you get. Just go all out and step up to the LTZ.:D

The LTZ has only two features that are really worth the extra cash. The auto climate and bluetooth. We really rely on the auto climate anytime we get in the car. Set it to 69 and within a few minutes its perfect. I know it sounds weird but it really is a great feature.

Bluetooth capability is available on 2LT models. Mine is a 2LT and has a Bluetooth radio.

With the LTZ package, you get two toned leather, better wheels, LED fog lamps and a more agressive looking grill.

Just picked up my 09 LTZ last week. Already put 600 miles on it. So far it is great. Took it back to the dealer yesterday to buff out a blemish on the hood and they gave me a 09 4cyl loaner. Even the 4 banger has a lot of pep. I do prefer the int, trim on the LTZ the best. I drive 150+ miles per day so I am hoping the mileage stays in the upper 20's.
