Hello,

I've tried looking across the internet for answers to my question but have found different, conflicting answers. Anyways, I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu base model, not the LS, and I want to recharge my AC. Where is the low pressure port?

Could you please provide the answer in detail as I am a newbie?

If you look down between the alternator and the firewall, towards the ground, you'll see the low pressure port on the line that's run down low, close to the bottom of the motor, from the firewall to the front of the car.

The line runs down the rail in front of the harmonic dampener.

Yes, I curse the idjit that put it there every time I have to touch the A/C on my car (and with almost 300Kmiles, it's been touched a few times ... )
