I've picked up a set of 18" malibu/cobalt ss wheels with 225/45 tires. The front end of the 4 cyl malibu already has more fendergap than the rear but it def looks worse once you put nice wheels on it. Does anyone have any pics of a malibu lowered that's not an ss? I'd like to see if its even worth doing. I'm not sure about lowering a common sedan, don't want it to look odd.

Awesome that's exactly what I was looking for, don't think I wanna go quite that low. I noticed he said he used 1.75" g6 springs and got 2". Are g6 springs cheaper than the eibachs for the malibu?

I just had a thought, if the malibu weighs more than the G6 could i just use the stock front G6 springs in the front of my malibu to lower it enough to even out the fender gap. id rather not lower it due to road conditions and price of springs.

guess i should add that my malibu is the 4cyl didnt know if there was a big weight diff between it and the v6, and also is the oem malibu springs the same as the oem g6 springs? cause if they are then disregard my last post. i tried looking for part numbers to compare but im unable to find any info on them. i would like to just match the fender gap in the rear, i think .5" to an inch would do it.
