Lowering malibu

I've picked up a set of 18" malibu/cobalt ss wheels with 225/45 tires. The front end of the 4 cyl malibu already has more fendergap than the rear but it def looks worse once you put nice wheels on it. Does anyone have any pics of a malibu lowered that's not an ss? I'd like to see if its even worth doing. I'm not sure about lowering a common sedan, don't want it to look odd.

To me it looks awesome lowered as does almost any car. It gives a vehicle a bit more of an aggressive looking stance.
