Hey guys, I'm in a funk right now. I have 800 bucks which took me FOREVER to save up and I've been saving to get some nice chrome rims. I seen an ad on craigslist for a set of malibu ltz rims and impalan ltz rims for 600 a set! mind you its off 09 models and the rims and tires are in great condition. The LS hubcaps I have (08 model) i believe to be not very attractive. Do you guys think I should save up even longer for some chrome which can run 1500+ or should i grab the nice steal right now and grab either the impala or malibu ltz rims with tires. Heres a pic of the impala ltz rims which i think look a little better then the malibu ltz rims (pictured on the banner up top). help me decide!

M M, I personally think the Malibu LTZ rims look MUCH better than the Impala rims. Do the Impala rims even have a chrome like shine to them? It doesn't look like it. In my opinion[which doesn't mean a lot sometimes] the Malibu are nice for factory rims.

I prefer the Malibu LTZ's. I don't care for the Impala's. Now, if you could get a set of the Aura rims then I'd say go for those.

I'm pretty sure the W-body Impala has different wheel offsets and possibly even bolt pattern than an Epsilon Malibu, so they wouldn't fit properly either. both are good looking wheels but in person the Malibu's look a little bit ritzier and are made for the car.

ok guys so i decided on buying the malibu ltz rims. Upon seeing both in person together at the same time i have to agree that the malibus ltz rims look way better. I just have a quick problem. It says SVC TIRE MONITOR on my DIC. I'm thinking its because the TPMS didnt match up since I didnt go through the whole recalibrating thing. Is that what I have to do to get rid of this problem? Sorry if this is a dumb question but Im off to work and I would like to know if thats all I have to do without worrying all day pics later!!

Thanks guys Kurly i agree that rims can make your car look much more expensive and can make alot more people turn their heads For the past two days that I've had them on I have to say alot more people stop and stare now (I'm pretty sure it's happened to all of us, and you guys know you love it too! lol) But as for the price I paid 600 for the entire set. The tires are all in great condition, nothing wrong with them at all in terms of any holes and the amount of tread still left on it. It came off an 09 that the guy bought about a week ago. Also the rims itself are in perfect cosmetic condition. There is a very SLIGHT curb rash on one rim when the guy sold it to me but you reallhy have to get up close to the rim and stare for a while to notice it there. Also the TPMS works fine too. 600 bucks for practically new rims and tires, sounds like a steal to me
