I purchased a 2009 Malibu Hybrid back in July of 2008. It's tax time and I don't see my car on the list of those eligible for a credit. I'm positive when I researched it before I sealed the deal, I saw that it was eligible for a $1,300 credit. Anybody know if something changed, or if I've been misguided from the start?

The credits are going down every year..

According to various professional review and news organisations.. the 2009 Hybrid is still eligible for a $1,300 federal credit.

The problem is, the professional review and news organizations don't seem to square with this: http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=185050,00.html

Is it possible GM has not reported information to the IRS regarding their '09 hybrids?

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only '09 Hybrid owner here. Come on guys, help me out!

Now I just need to get Turbotax to agree.
