Hi all fellow malibu lover,
I had a check engine light on and off, with error code P1101. Made test drive with OBD2 and saw nothing wrong with intake-airflow. So, took it to mechanic.
He had a tech bulletin stating that the turbo cooler connection was often defective ( it's a small radiator on the front) it cools the air for the turbo.
Can't tell you much details, but now, light is off and car works good.
