My LTZ has the Auto Up and Down feature. Maybe it's an LTZ only option?

Anyone know if there would be anyway to just take the control panel out of the LTZ and installing it in a lower model to achieve the auto up/down?

you'd think by now they would have all 4 windows auto up and down.

I believe the new Regal has auto up/down for all windows.

In addition to the control panel you also would also need to swap out the power window motor, and make a few new electrical connections. There is a special control circuit board built into the motor.

I found out when modding my '09 that the express circuitry is inside the motor housing.

That means that to use an aftermarket module I'll have to disassemble the motor housing to access the wires that directly operate the motor itself. Then I can use my remote to run it up and down, along with the other three windows!!!

The screws are a Pentalobe Torx-style. Gonna have to buy tools just to do it. That's the only real shopping I like to do - tools and car stuff!

I have an LT2 and it has the auto up and down feature. I belive just the LT2 & LTZ have this feature. I don' open the back windows too often, but i miss having this feature on the passenger window.

To the best of my knowledge, all trim levels have the express down feature but only the LT2 and LTZ trim levels have the express up feature. This applies only to the drivers door window. If you have RPO code AXG on the service parts label you have the express up feature.

I do not have the express up in my vehicle.

I see this has been asked a while back just wondering if any solutions have been thought of. Also is it possible to take the power window switch/ motor out of either and Lt2 or LTZ 2013 model and would they fit into a 2013 LT? Would reprogramming be needed of the BCM? Seems kind of odd to have only the auto down but not auto up in all models. I mean if you have one why not the other? :(
